U.S Ambassador to South Korea Attacked

Mark Lippert, U.S Ambassador of South Korea was slashed in the right cheek and his hand by a 10 inch razor blade in Seoul, South Korea on Wednesday, March 4th 2015. A South Korean news agency reports that the suspect was opposed to the South Korea- U.S military drills. That suspect is called to be 55 years old with the last name "Kim." According to local police chief of Seoul, the event was organized by the Korea Council For Reconciliation and Cooperation, and "Kim,"the suspect in the attack was a member of the council. In July, 2010 "Kim" threw a piece of concrete to a Japaneses Ambassador of South Korea."Kim" must have something against any ambassadors to South Korea! The motive of the attack on the ambassador is under investigation. The State Department spokeswomen, Marie Harf, states, "We strongly condemn this act of violence. The ambassador is being treated at a local hospital. His injuries are not life threatening." The U.S Ambassador is now in stable condition.
